Features:
OPS is mainly used for diagnosis and programming BMW vehicles after E65 series . OPS unit with DIS software is used for diagnosis , which is carried out via OBD-II socket .OPS unit with SSS software is used for programming , which is carried out via OBD-II socket and MOST socket .
The optical programming system ( OPS) for programming vehicles is handled in exactly the same way as the OPPS. The connection is effected simultaneously to the OBD II socket and also to the MOST fibre-optic access in the vehicle. The connection to the workshop network is effected via network cable to a free network connection. Like the OPPS, the OPS does not have an air interface, as the high bandwidth required for programming can currently only be achieved by means of a cable connection.

2.unavailable for the BMW vehicles with 20 pins before 2000.
